"Caught in the lament tides of a bird,
an outpour rain of maroon blood,
when a peacock spreads its wings abroad
and hisses its chalk-colored eyes at the sky"
. ~Anthony Liccione
Flowing Feathers
Tucked angel wings
stained with orchid tears,
enshroud a forgotten warrior
whose headdress weeps
onto sacred plains.
His ancient feet
punch the soft amber earth
rhythmic; offered
with gracious chants
that float aloft
toward the nothing
that is everything
. ~Angela Goughnour Part of the Dream Weave Walk 1999-2010
"Forsake the game,
Before somebody else,
That's not my trait,
I gonna fight it back,
on this green golf land
My night is over now,
I'm up on rise again,
Gonna put you all behind in game
You know,I'm still THE BEST"
. ~ Dhaval Vadgama
He carries in his wallet
This portrait of his mistress
Who inspires his devotion
And weekend sunrise rendezvous
The harlot betrays him
And he still loves her
With stick-shattering passion
And feeds her endless hunger
With his Titleist
. ~ Brandy Stoner
GOLF GREENS(2005) Size:20" X 18" Part of the Dream Weave Walk 1999-2010
"In Rain, a call to sleep content,
between the water’s soft lament
of dripping thoughts and candles weep,
some puddles form on floors beneath
A splash or two, outside between the storms.
bright flashes in my dreams
awake a sense, but not today.
it seems to nice to sleep this way."
. -Robert Henry

"Show me the Sun in pieces arrayed,
Show me the night in their shadows displayed.
Tomorrow will come and whole, once again,
The Sun will shine brighter, its pieces to mend."

"Party hats
and a big clown nose,
garland festooned throughout.
A big round cake
wore only a handful of candles.
An ordinary day to others,
but a day that had a countdown
for you."
. ~ Diane Saarinen

were contained in your

BINARY STARS (2005) Size: 17" X 21" Part of the Dream Weave Walk 1999-2010
Desolate
"Frothy, torrid waters rushing onward
cascading over lichen covered stones
wearing a passage
waywithout a concern to where
Etched, snow laden branches
finger-like designs grasping
upward towards the leaden sky
plaintively, as if seeking reassurance
Chill air, snatching any warmth,
making silvery fog clouds
then dissipating with scarcely
a trace or care, unfettered
A lone ragged crow
gives one harsh caw
peering with beady eyes
flapping his wings, soars upward
All is desolate, all is still "
. . Linda Lee Ruzicka

Stainless Steel Weeping
"The leaden sky drips down
like pewter tears
like stainless steel weeping
into a basin of night."
. ~Kelly M
BLUE FIRE (2005) Size: 32" X 24" Part of the Dream Weave Walk 1999-2010
"Your soul melts into mine
undulating; rippling
the aurora borealis my heart feels
when it shadows yours.
An eclipsed aura so vigorous
I shut my eyes
trying to covet this to memory
but wanting you so
it is almost like suffering
seen through the
translucent blush of my skin."
~Angela Goughnour
COLORS OF PASSION (2005) Size:22" X 18" Part of the Dream Weave Walk 1999-2007
"Playful eruptions of cerulean and green
Billow and sway in frothy skirts -
Graceful dancers of the deep
Under a mesmerized sky.
Cobalt and emerald, tickled by the breeze,
Swirl in misty unison,
Surrendering their colors,
Like the glistening hues of a painter's palette."
. -Diana L.M.I. Dawson
CHOPPY WATERS(2005) Size:21" X 16" Part of the Dream Weave Walk 1999-2007
Inspired by a song of my Favourite singer STING-DESERT ROSE "
Raw, rouge, softness
amidst the struggle
of tiny stone skeletons.
A Bedouin of beauty
awakens the vast sands.
Cast as a reminder
of what once was,
so the desert will not forget.
. ~Angela Goughnour

awash in the reflected sky.
A liquid backdrop

a collaboration of
innocent beauty."

"Open for interpretation,
uniqueness suits you well.
They say,
"beauty is in the eye of the beholder"
voice what you
'see'
'think'
'feel'.
To conform should not be the norm,
resist,
the urge to suppress your thoughts,
in the confines of your mind"
